Self-study is a meaningful part of your yoga practice. The key to a successful yoga practice is commitment and consistency. Practice, and all else will come.  

Yoga classes at Yoga Beek are 60 or 75 minutes long. During these 60 or 75 minutes we will practice a series of asanas that focus on different areas of the body and ranges of movement. As well, every participant will receive hands on resources in order to practice at home.
Home practice doesn’t require a lot. All you need is a yoga mat and a quiet space where you can practice in silence. This space is not limited to your home, you can practice yoga everywhere whether it’s in nature, outside in the garden or on the beach during your vacation. Once you decide to invite your practice to your home, in your own space, you will notice a fast improvement. The intention is not to make people reliant on their teacher. The goal is to guide and instruct you in learning the asanas, so you implement your practice in your day to day life and you can practice whenever and wherever you desire to. You will become part of the ever-growing worldwide yoga community.
The philosophy of yoga hands you the tools to improve your life, focusing on both mental as well as physical health.
From the very start, the philosophy of yoga will be an important part of the yoga classes. Every class we will focus on one of the yoga sutras, composed by Patanjali.
